We rested in the afternoon. At four we went for our tea and a biscuit. Somehow more than 2 hours without eating has become difficult - good grief.
We met Gus, Nicole, and Stafan and wandered off to the safari vehicle. It was our last ride out, and we were prepared for anything. Lukas had gone home and we had his replacements. Hmmmm A Brazilian couple that didn't seem like they fit in with anyone. The wife of the couple had 5 inch heels and torn jeans. Not exactly safari clothes. The ride was good anyway. Here's our photos.
Before we took off on our last safari the female Nyala, her baby, and mate all showed up behind our room. Here they were

The male is remarkably different than the rest of his family.
The general theme of our safari this evening was babies. Our first encounter was a momma rhino and her baby.
This baby was about 8 months old.
We then were shown a pair of pigmy mongooses. They resided in an abandoned termite mound.
Alec and Gus checking out tracks for another encounter.
Ox buffalo bird nests in high tension lines.
Hippos finally decided to stay a little above water for a photo.
A couple of giraffes on the road.
A momma giraffe and her baby
We stopped for our evening drink, then went on in the dark.
Below are some night shots of the hippos.
We found a momma lion sharing her impala dinner with her baby. The baby began tugging at a bone which created a tiny stir. The baby, needless to say, backed off and settled for some other offerings.
Our last sighting was a jackel
Tomorrow we're off to Zambia and Victoria Falls.
