OOPS -JULY 8

Hello - this is why I shouldn't wait too long to do my blogs. The lovely evening with Norm Fleck and Vikram Deshpande happened the night before, Monday night. We had strolled all day. Maureen and I wandered back to Maureen's garden plot that she rents after our walk to Fen Denton. We picked raspberries and spinach for dinner. As mentioned, the whole meal was lovely. LAST night, Tuesday, we walked up to Castle Hill, had a pint of Adnam's bitter - very nice stuff. Then went to a Korala Indian dinner. I had never had southern Indian food before, and it was excellent.

At the moment we're back in London at a Radisson Hotel. We leave very early tomorrow morning for Cairo and the hotel is conveniently located.
